A couple ways this button is used depending on model of truck cap:
1. Used on the frame-less glass rear door at the top with a 10mm ball mount for the props and at the bottom to attach the latches to the door.
2. Side windows to attach the pop out window handle.

The ball socket is 11 MM not 10 MM.Would not hold the lift support in place. Kept popping off.
