This wine decanter set arrived and was packaged well. Nothing was broken and all was intact. The crystal glass is beautiful. This would make a great gift for a new home owner or wedding gift.

This is a beautiful looking set. The glasses almost look like they would be used for a nice whiskey set. A great presentation and gift for someone who occasionally uses it. Most of my decanters have a wide bowl base to allow the wine to breathe and introduce oxygen. This set tapers and while the base is big by the time you poor the bottle in there is not much room for the oxygen. This is more an aesthetic piece than a functioning piece. It is better than keeping in a bottle and once you drink down the wine should keep breathing more and more.

I really really like this. Not only is it well shaped, it is thick, and it does not feel like it will break under the touch. Many of these that I have had in the past felt like a very thin almost. And I was scared to really grab it fully. This one I don’t have that same concern. I’m not sure how big a fan. I am the spikes on the glasses, but they do drink nicely, even though they’re kind of funny shaped.

This decanter is elegant and classy. I used this brought it out during a family gathering and it was a huge hit. Its something that you don't see everyday and it brings something more than a wine bottle could. The glasses are sturdy and easy to hold. I would love to have extra glasses, enough to share while entertaining company. The container was able to hold the full bottle of wine we purchased. I really like how solid the base is, I did not have to worry about it easily breaking or tipping over.

This comes nicely packaged, it feels quite durable, and looks great. I think this would be a great gift for a new homeowner, wedding present for a couple that enjoys wine, etc. Solid purchase.

The crystal is approximately a quarter of an inch thick in the decanter, which is great because it’s less likely to break. I’m going to use this for sure.A couple of concerns though that don’t really bother me, but might bother a would-be sommelier. The photographs on the product page all depict red wine. I understand why, because it shows off the design of the decanter and glasses. However, the base of this decanter is not really wide enough to effectively decant red wine in my opinion. Also the glasses, while beautiful, don’t have the proper open top for red wine.

I don't know how I do it, but I am rough on decanters... I have tried several "looks" but most have either "form" or "function".Form in that there is some style to the decanter.Function in that they are thick enough to withstand a little bit of use and / or washing.This decanter set is a bit of both. The decanter is attractive - the lines add a bit of style to it. But it seems thick enough to hold up to use around the house of a regular wine drinker.The glasses match well with the use of the patterns..Overall a great set.
