Got these for a friend whose wine charms never stay on her wine glasses and they work wonderfully for keeping track of whose glass is whose.

I bought these for a party and they worked great! Everyone enjoyed having their own plastic wine “glass” that they got to draw on with these. They dried quickly and did not smudge. Highly recommend for a party where there are lots of glasses or plastic cups!

We love these glass markers. So much fun to use at a party, and there is never any question about which glass belongs to who. Easy to write you name on, or make designs, and wash right off with soap. Bought several to give as gifts!

These wine glass markers arrived today. I wrote on a glass with each marker, then waited a few seconds to make sure the ink dried. As others have stated, the green, gold, and blue markers are the most visible on clear glass. Red and silver are perfectly usable, but not as bright. After I thought the ink had a chance to dry I put my fingers all over the glass. The colors did not smudge or get on my fingers. If you rub the ink, it comes right off on your hands though (the pictures I am sharing are of the first glass). Later, I wrote all over a proper wine glass with each marker. Then I put cold coffee in the glass, and an hour later some room temperature merlot. Over these two hours, some of the wavy lines I drew smudged a bit since I made sure to grab the glass by the bowl instead of the stem. Even though I had wet hands when I grabbed the glass once, most of the lines stayed in place and the colors stayed visible. I think if you are worried about the ink coming off, you could write along the base of a glass, where people are less likely to touch. It's nice to have an alternative to wine charms that either fall off, or you have to remember to collect them off all the glasses at the end of the night.

I just had a family dinner two weeks ago and I really wish I’d thought to buy these before then. There were 12 people here and keeping track of glasses wasn’t so easy. I was afraid I’d start to run out. It’s not a problem when everyone is sitting at the table, but at first everyone is up and milling around. They set their drinks down and then don’t remember which is theirs so they grab a clean one. Everyone knows how this happens. This applies both to wine glasses, which these pens are advertised for, or regular drinking glasses.I love these things! Of the 5 colors, the blue, green, and gold are the easiest to see when writing on a clear glass or goblet. The red and silver were a little less easy to see, but still very usable. I noticed that if you wipe the ink right after you write it on the glass surface, it will come right off, but if you don’t touch it, it will dry in a couple of minutes and not come off during use. On the other hand, a wet sponge wipes the ink right off! One of my photos shows only part of a word on the goblet. That’s because I had swiped a sponge over part of it and it came off instantly.I know I will be using these constantly, even when it’s just my immediate family around.
