  • Important: 1) Be sure to remove the silk folds with a steam iron when you get the fan veil, otherwise the silk will not flow. 2) There is a screw rivet on the bamboo handle. It is adjustable by hand. You can use it to change the strength and even the opening direction of the fan veil. But you need to tighten the screw head from time to time to prevent it from falling off.
  • We use wide, thick and bent bamboo blades. They have been carefully inspected for splinters, fit well in the hand and do not hurt. You can tighten the screw rivet to make the fan not so easy to close and open.
  • The fan is made of lightweight real silk and flows beautifully. Hand painted bright colors with soft gradations. All necessary edges are hemmed to extend the use of the fan veil. The circular edge on the smaller side of the fan is not hemmed, which does not affect the use of the fan. You can trim this edge from time to time if you like.
  • Return without refund if you have any of the following problems: wrong hand, wrong colors, stains, silk holes, silk falling off the bamboo, torn bamboo ribs.
  • Keep dry and clean. Never wash the fans. Erase the folds of the silk to get the best glide. Keep the spare rivet head. Do not let the screw head fall off.

Comfortable bamboo staves

Bamboo handles are wide and thick for a comfortable grip. Carefully polished and inspected for splinters. They're curved so they won't hurt your palm.

Screw rivet

Screw rivets allow you to adjust the tightness and even change the opening direction of the fans by hand without tools, but you'll need to tighten the screw head every so often to keep it from falling off. Be sure to keep the spare rivets.

Hemming

Not all sides of the fan veils are finished. We have sewn only the necessary edges so that the fan veil does not wear out too quickly. The circular edges are not hemmed. You may trim that part once in a while if you like.

steam iron

Use and care

We strongly recommend steam ironing the fans when you receive them. When the wrinkles are gone, the silk will flow much better.

Don't wash the fans. Keep them away from water (rain, beach). Let them dry before storing them in a bag.

Very pretty and look amazing in the sun. Was expecting a softer silk, but still very happy. Comes with a small storage pouch and I'm happy they hem the ends of the silk to avoid serious fraying.
