We keep this as a backup in our car so when our kid inevitably loses her current one she can still play hockey instead of being told to leave the ice without proper equipment. There's nothing super special about this neck guard over many others but it does the trick. It's relatively comfortable on our daughter but it is a bit bulky for her she says. What's funny though is the picture in the description they show where a guy is wearing it while holding a hockey stick - you can tell they just photoshopped it onto the photo and it's just goofy. It's not THAT BIG - so don't be afraid to buy and give this a try.
