Rope core is 1/16" not 1/8" total diameter with coating is close to 1/8".

This easy kit allowed me to finish up my project with ease. It had everything I needed to run a line from my house to my chicken coup and is sturdy. Was able to hang misc. items on it without it buckling or weakening and held up well to the weather.

This is a quality product. It works exactly as you'd expect.You will need either compound leverage pliers to cut this or, as I do, use a dremel to do it. That's not a complaint; it's just the nature of the product in question.

Nice quality rope kit set. Works fine for setting up sunshades and lighting decors outdoor. Holds up fine and no issues.

We got this wire to use to secure two very heavy deer ornaments that we have. They are a little top heavy and we wanted to secure them to keep from falling over and breaking. My husband did anchor them but wanted additional support. This wire worked out perfectly. Very strong and well made. Nicely coated. Was perfect item for the job.

Good kit to start with, Comes with everything you need for a low price, Cable has vinyl protection which helps protect the cable but also protect anything it is attached to.

I bought this kit to hang up my Christmas lights in our backyard this winter. They will be strung between some trees and poles that I've set up.This is a good quality wire rope kit. In addition to the wire being stainless steel, it's also covered with a vinyl coating for extra protection. This is a fairly thick strand of wires and if properly attached, should hold a decent amount of weight. Also, it comes with a great assortment of attachments - turnbuckles, eye hooks with screws, wall anchors, wire rope clips, aluminum sleeves and wire rope thimbles. Pretty much every type of attachment you can imagine or need.Overall, this is a good quality wire rope kit with a very complete set of attachments. Definitely recommended.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
