I was a little worried about this because of the price compared to the Microsoft brand one that wasn't available, but this one works just fine. I don't notice any lag and it's plug and play into the computer and you sync it with the controller and it works good.

This is what to get. If you are having Bluetooth connectivity issues with your controller (like me) this product is the fix for that.

Not for 360 or original xbox, but should work with all the newer controllers. My computers recognize it as an oem adaptor right away, but it gets pretty warm, so I'm not sure how long it will last.

Very pleased with this adapter. No drivers were needed on a Windows 11 laptop and the plug and play function was flawless. Keep in mind, it will not work with an Xbox 360 Controller but that didn’t affect us. Connected a newer Xbox One X and Xbox Series X controller with no major issues and a very stable connection. Also, keep in mind, this is NOT a Bluetooth device!The process for syncing/pairing the controller was simple. Press the button on the end cap of adapter (for a second or two) and the light begins to blink. Then press the pairing button on your Xbox controller. Once the two devices are paired/connected, the light on the adapter will stop blinking and you're all set. At that point, you should have the same gaming experience you would on an Xbox (One or SX) console. The device is quite small but it does the job and the seller indicates it offers the ability to connect up to eight controllers at once, plus up to 4 chat headsets or 2 stereo headsets. We did NOT test this function/option.There was an occasional and slightly noticeable lag when in the menus (could be interference on our end) but overall the device performs well and is a good option for wireless gaming on a PC with an Xbox One or SX controller.Bottom Line: There’s a lot to like about this Non OEM adapter, so we are giving it an overall 4 star rating because the device works, appears to be manufactured with quality materials and we loved the simple/easy connection process. Therefore, we can recommend this adapter and believe it to be a well designed “Wireless Adapter and Upgraded Dongle Accessory” for PC gaming (we did NOT test on Tablet) utilizing an Xbox Controller, so “Adapt to Change” the way you experience Xbox gaming when a traditional console is not available.
