As a mom of three kids (ages 3,5 and 8), keeping our pool safe has always been a top priority. I recently purchased the PoolScout Wireless, and I can honestly say it has been a game-changer for our family's pool time and safety!When I first heard about it, I was a bit hesitant due to some mixed reviews online. However, I’m thrilled to report that any previous issues seem to be fixed! The device works flawlessly and has exceeded my expectations.The setup process was a breeze! Right out of the box, I was able to connect it to our Wi-Fi and set it up within minutes. I appreciated how user-friendly the app is, making it easy to monitor everything from my phone. I’m not the most tech-savvy person (to say the least LOL), but I had no trouble getting things going.And, what really blew me away is its incredible technology. The PoolScout can even tell the difference between adults and children! This feature is nothing short of amazing—it's given me such peace of mind knowing that it will alert me immediately if my kids accidentally fall into the pool. Its really great having a backyard pool, but even though we have a fence I've always worried about the possibility of young kids or our pets getting too near and the nightmare that could follow. Poolscout is the answer. I saw the founder on Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch - two top guys offered to invest. I was super impressed. I was able to unpack and set it up really quickly, without having to get outside help. So far it works very well, the app is great and user friendly. There are loads of other features and I really feel relaxed knowing my family are safe.

I was a little concerned reading the negative reviews but decided to give it a try. When setting up the camera it did not pick up the QR code immediately but after turning up the brightness it worked straight away. Besides that setup was pretty quick so seems like they fixed those issues.I don't know how they do it but the toddler alerts are pretty cool. It also picked up our dog for the pet alerts and overall it works great. Highly recommended.

Was a mistake buying it. The alarm when someone gets near the pool did not sound at all. There is no 2 way talk. No motion notification at all. You could but a much larger security system that actually works for this price!

The smart alerts are very cool. It can tell the difference between my son (18 months old) and our pool guy so you don't get it going off every time like a ring camera. Got the camera setup in 2 minutes on the app. It has automatic pool detection and activity zones which is neat. Recommended for pool owners.

The product is well packaged. The camera is pretty simple to setup, and we get alerted in the app. We get plenty of sun and have not needed to charge up the camera since we set it up. The alerts are very cool and it even detects the pool area automatically. Highly recommended for anyone with a pool.

I was so excited for this camera and it’s features, and I am extremely disappointed. The first one died within a few days and wouldn’t charge via solar panel or usb-c. I exchanged on Amazon (that part was easy!) and was excited about trying again. This one was having so many issues with our WiFi that we bought a whole mesh system (despite multiple other security cameras working fine) and when we thought it was finally going to work, it just stopped. Now it won’t restart or connect to the app at all. Just keeps flashing green/red lights no matter what we do. Huge disappointment. Returning.
