I assembled the product on the cycle as the instructions detailed and attempted to get a rotation and speed reading and the cpu failed to read the sensor. So thinking it was user error I then repositioned the sensor in many different positions to see if I could get any reading but to no avail.

This is an updated review after using for 3 days, the computer is not accurate with the rpm and as of today it is no longer functioning correctly, unable to reset anything other than time , will be returning both. Sorry I really wanted it to work, it may work great on outdoor bikes but not my spin cycle .

The display has a lot of options for speed kms and calories time ODO , But it takes time to memorize all the options ! It's not a simple display like on my Ebike but does the job ! But not bad for the price

Now that I have it working on my stationary bike, I am very pleased. All I really wanted was for it to display my ride time. When I start spinning it starts counting time, when I stop spinning it stops. I do six sets of six minutes with stretches and crunches in between. I figured out how to change kilometers to miles from the Chinglish instructions and it says I am doing 15 mph and 4 minute miles, which is right on the money.HOW TO GET THE COMPUTER TO WORK: If you spin and nothing happens, the receiver is too far from the transmitter. Period. Put the transmitter on the fork and the magnet on the flywheel and turn the pedals. Make sure the magnet is passing by the center of the transmitter. Next, turn on the receiver while turning the pedals. If the receiver is too far away, nothing will happen. If it is close enough, you will see speed and run times being displayed and changing. Now attach the receiver where it is still close enough to the transmitter to receive the signal. The trick is that the transmission distance is a lot shorter than you would expect it to be and it is almost certain you will mount the receiver too far away unless you make sure you are getting a signal when you mount it. I didn't move mine very far when I finally got it to work, but that couple of inches made the difference. Bottom line ; it is a very weak signal. After you get it working it's not that hard to figure out the rest. When you start a workout hit the up arrow key to wake the receiver up. To reset everything to zero hold the up arrow key down for three or four seconds. Start spinning, and you are good to go.PREVIOUS REVIEWAll I want is to display the ride time and speed on my stationary bike, but I can't get it to actually start changing anything. There is obviously a simple parameter that I need to trigger, but after a half hour of fiddling with it I can't figure it out. The Chinglish instructions are extremely lacking.
