I bought it to use in my Mazda Cx 5. It was very easy to connect. Now when I get in the car and start it, my phone connects to Android Auto automatically.

I tried connecting to it and I have a samsung galaxy s24 ultra with a 2020 Subaru WRX. It'll connect but my car will say apple car play then it'll disconnect. It'll connect again on its own, but this time saying android auto. Then it just goes to a blank screen on my cars android auto screen. Then it does nothing for about 20 second before it disconnects and stops. I'll unplug it and plug it back in where it runs the entire process over again like clockwork. I dont know if it's a one off or if it's just not android friendly as it is advertised to be.

I'm finding it difficult to review these adapters because when there are issues, it can be difficult to tell if it's the phone, adapter, or software. That being said, I've tried a few different adapters, and this one has worked the most consistently. I'm using it with Android Auto on a 2021 Honda. It was easy to set up, but if you had previous connections, it is probably a good idea to clear those out first before connecting with this adapter. Once set up, it connects pretty quickly. In my experience, the phone disconnects periodically, but nowhere near as often as it did with other adapters or even wired, and it reconnects pretty fast, too. I suspect the issue has more to do with Google's software, though. They've been making lots of updates recently because of connection issues. On the latest version that my phone has been running the past couple of weeks, the connection has been pretty stable. Music sometimes skips a bit, but again, I suspect it is Google's software. I love the basic design of this adapter. The USB port on my vehicle is below all the controls in the front. I tried dongle types, and I didn't have a good place to put the dongle. The way this is made, it is right up against the panel, so it doesn't interfere with other items nearby and doesn't have anything to dangle or rattle, etc. The only thing I don't like that much is the color changing light. I find it a bit distracting at times. It would be better if it was just a solid color to indicate it is connected. Overall, though, this seems to be a good adapter. It is the best one I've tried so far.

This was used to set up wireless Apple CarPlay in a 2023 Hyundai (that doesn't have a built-in wireless setup, oddly enough). The initial setup was easy and went smoothly, allowing the iPhone to connect wirelessly - no issues. The next time the car was turned on, the iPhone wouldn't connect to the device automatically, no matter how many attempts were made. We reset the connection, and it worked, but after restarting the car, it did not automatically connect. We've learned that it requires the touchscreen to manually connect the device, which takes away some of the convenience but isn't a deal-breaker. The positives are that since the device can rotate, it fits almost any USB port in the car. It's also nice and compact and fits easily in the armrest, whereas many other devices require a longer cord to be hidden. So overall, this device is better than the one we previously had, but I removed a star because it's not connecting automatically like it should.

Simply plug in, connect, play.Packaging is simple and the directions are straightforward. Basically, if you have connected your phone to anything else, you should be able to connect your phone to this device.The initial boot up took a little bit but after that boot up is quick.The best feature is that the you can rotate the USB plug to best fit in your vehicle.One random feature is the rotating led light color. As standard these is a led light to let you know the device is plugged in. Once it is connected successfully, the colors change. I haven’t found a way to select a specific color so the colors just change.NOTE: If something is wrong, the color will stay red.

This adapter is very good and useful! It’s super easy to use and even has some small lights, which is a nice touch. The connection is pretty quick, and the Bluetooth is very stable. Every time I get in the car, it connects instantly and automatically, very convenient!
