I am a healthcare provider. I have been trying to find a good camera to use in clinic to do assessments and teach. This camera by far is one of the best. My biggest complaint it does drop from the internet at times.

This is great for getting an inside peek. I need to check on ear infections a lot and this helps to do it safely. Well built and sturdy.

I have frequent ear infections and had planned to use this product to share pictures with my doctor instead of constantly going into the office for appointments. For this price point, I was expecting a higher quality product. The unit connects to an app on your phone and allows you to live stream video from the device and save pictures to your phone; however, the images are very soft and low quality. The tip on the unit also starts getting warm after only a few minutes of use. I have tried several times to get a better image but to no avail. Due to the low-quality images from this product, I don't recommend it.

This only works with an app. App was easy enough to download and connect. However it loses connection and you need to reconnect. That takes at least 30 to 45 seconds everytime that happens. However the worst part is if you try to take a video. The app totally crashes and closes down. I checked in the app store and this hasn’t been updated for 7 months, so I don’t expect a fix anytime soon. Also irritating that there are no charging instructions and the unit is a little wobbly in the base. i think when it’s charging the LED lamp on the end of the otoscope itself flashes which is pretty bright and irritating. This is high priced for its category so I was expecting much better. Disappointed

This is a great idea to advance telehealth, as patient can use this to take pictures and video of ENT issues. The otoscope comes with a charging base and micro USB wire and plug. It also contains 25 speculum. These are soft sided that thread into the otoscope, a bit different than the hard sided ones that regular otoscopes use, but same concept. I am impressed with the amount that is included, and it seems that you can easily order more from the same company.I am having a bit of an issue with lag, as it takes a couple of seconds for the image on my phone to correlate with the position of the otoscope. It's not a huge deal, but does make positioning a bit of a challenge, and would make video next to impossible. The included photo is of my tympanic membrane. It's passable, but more blurry than I would like, even after taking several photos while repositioning. Maybe with more practice it will become easier to position. It's certainly different than using a manual otoscope, as there is no focus issues. All in all a decent product

Once you download the Remmie Pro app, the ear scope syncs to it pretty easily. The app is very basic. It just shows the view of the camera. If you save a picture or video it goes to your phone’s photos. It’s not on the app. The app is very basic and offers no other features but a short video tutorial. The camera itself is pretty clean, and shows a good picture of the inner ear. This could be handy if you have frequent ear infections or other issues and want to send the information to your doctor.
