My son loves this controller. It's everything it says in the description. I would buy again.

I love it super easy to set up and works very wellAnd price is really nice if you don’t have the money for an actual Nintendo pro controller

The functionality of this controller is horrible. It has joystick drift from the moment i removed it from the packaging and on a full charge.

TL;DR - You CAN turn off/dim the rainbow lights but must do so each time you turn on the controller. It's uncannily similar to an Xbox controller which is a plus and the paddles are great. I had to hardwire pair before getting it to work. 4.5* & would recommend—my new go-to switch controller. When attempting to wirelessly connect, (read: pair) I had to hardwire it by using a USB to type C before it accepted the controller. Although, it did pair quickly once hardwired so I wasn't too unhappy about this. I wish the triggers weren’t as "floaty" but that seems to be a switch controller default and something I have to get over. The placement of the paddles are perfect, the turbo button works and I like the "clicky" bumpers. I love the camera button's placement as I have a folder full of accidental pictures because of where it's usually placed. - Coming from a former PlayStation guy, I will and always have admitted that Xbox controllers are elite. That said, this controller's button placement is superior and just like an Xbox controller, it feels ergonomic and substantial.A key feature on this controller is the light, so I'm not going to be too harsh with my grading on this as I knew what I was getting into for the most part. The colors fade or melt into the next, which is cool in theory but I find it glaring and tiresome. I hate to think of the headache I'd get if gaming in a dark room with it on but you can turn this feature off. I'm not a huge fan of RGB lights but can appreciate them from afar. It doesn't have an option to save your preference though, so you'd have to turn it off each time you turn the controller on, which I will be doing. There's a slot for a mobile clip between the LT & RT but you would need to purchase that separately as it did not come with one. - Sad to say this in 2024 but it's so nice that this has a built-in battery as many controllers don’t have this feature. Much to my lament. Lol The blue "water marble/tie-dye" isn't nice to look at in my opinion but I value performance over aesthetics. I wish it was a solid color but overall I would rate this a 4.5* as it has quickly become my favored switch controller. I'd recommend it!
