Tarot cards are in a different language, not English like the journal and everything else was supposed to be.

Just as described. Beautiful cards and purple velvet case. There is even enough room in case for a crystal or two in the case. Excellent journal! Packaged nicely in box from Witchy Cauldron. Everything you need to start reading tarot. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon! 💜 Thanks Witchy Cauldron!

The first set I received was in Italian instead of English. They were super quick to ship out a new item and it was correct. My daughter loves her Birthday present. :)

This is a nice beginner set. Each card in the deck has keywords written on it to help beginners learn. The quality of the cards isn't great, but it's a great learning tool.

Received the items exactly as described. The journal has a lot of information and spreads for beginners. It all seems to be well made.

Witchy Cauldron should be commended for producing this as I honestly can’t think of an easier way to learn tarot, as everything one needs is here in an all-round attractive and functional boxed set based around a super-easy to learn methodology. What I really like is the double-barrelled approach for understanding the meanings of each card, as not only do the cards themselves have the meanings on them (and the valuable reversed meanings too, no less, for those who wish to use them) but the included journal gives further explanations of what each card represents. The full tarot set is included here, based upon the famous, and much used, Rider-Waite deck. The cards are good quality, shuffle easily and not only have astrological and planetary symbolism on each one, but also chakra associations as well – all nicely augmented with two additional cards (not to be used in readings) that explain the symbolism and associations of each one (which is a nice touch). There’s smaller pictorial depictions of the Rider-Waite deck on each card, with upright and reversed meanings above each one. There’s also helpful phrases on the major arcana cards to help the beginner better understanding their overall meaning, and a useful keyword on each of the minor arcana cards which similarly aids understanding. Additionally, each card in both arcanas has a ‘Yes’, ‘No’ or ‘Maybe’ for making quick decisions. The cards are all-round bright and colourful (with beguiling moon and reversed-moon images on the backs), and are a joy to not only use and own but will encourage repeat use.Having all the meanings on the cards is a major plus because unless spending a lot of time with tarot it’s easy to forget their meanings. Obviously, the symbolism of each pictorial element helps, but still, it does no harm having interpretative reminders on the cards until one is sufficiently familiar with them. The interpretations still require a degree of intuition and insight as to which particular one best fits the questions asked, but knowing the overall meanings of the cards greatly helps hone in on the right elements to give the best answers. Of course, that’s the same with any tarot deck. The cards come in an attractive box, of which also contains a really nice wrap that acts as both a pouch and a quick way to lay out a three-card spread. (There’s a belief that cards are better off in wraps than just kept in a box to better contain vibrations.)The journal is a nicely-produced, hard-backed, wire-bound affair with quality pages, with not only plenty of space for recording one’s progress and readings, but useful insights for daily readings and how tarot is affected by the phases of the moon. For those so inclined, there’s eight pages of stickers at the back with 30 stickers per page (so 240 stickers all told) depicting each of the 78 cards just over three times each. Okay as such, but it may be a little awkward if in various readings one keeps drawing the same cards. However, it’s again a nice touch and will likely be ideal for most of the entries in the journal. Stickers aside, there’s plenty of room for writing one’s own thoughts and reflections upon both the readings and the card meanings.Whether a beginner or more seasoned tarot reader, there’s a lot of reasons to use this set. From my own use (and as somebody who owns traditional decks) it’s a pleasure to use and an ideal adjunct when one hasn’t been using the cards for a while and needs a quick reminder. In fact, it’s such a lovely and useful set that it would make a probably much-appreciated gift for the mystically-inclined. Recommended.

I am gutted as this was a Christmas present and the tarot cards are not in English. I have tried to reach out to the seller directly by finding their own website, and not heard anything back. I don’t want to send the whole order back. As the journal and pouch are in English. I thought I could reorder but concerned il just receive the cards in Italian again.

This is a beautiful kit and has almost everything you need. A more comprehensive book would help for people new to cards. I also think the designs on the cards are beautiful but not for beginners as most books give interpretation based on specific symbols.

Update: Seller has sent out English cards which arrived today. Review stars updated to reflect this.Everything else in this pack is in English....except for the tarot cards themselves which are in Italian (I think)Very disappointed. No way of contacting the seller. I can return and reorder but chances are, I'll get the same Italian cards again.
