Our shower tiles are slippery. And my son isn't exactly the king of coordination. Those two combined, I needed help. With no interest in the typical suction cup anti-slip option advertised to parents, I found this industrial-lite option that recalled my days working in a fast food kitchen (it was what the floors in the dishwashing and greasy areas were covered in). It is heavy and heavy-duty. It is truly slip proof (it neither moves, nor do those standing on it move involuntarily). When my son sits on the shower floor, it does leave a funny little waffle print on his tush, but it never bothers him. We're grateful for the extra traction!

We purchased this for our deck which we constantly ‘hose down’ after meals. When we thought about it more, we believed it would solve a major ongoing problem right in our main door entryway. We were looking for a better solution to prevent slips and falls. We like that this catches water and debris from adults, children and dogs running in from the pool, rain and snow. I like the look of the mesh that is ‘see through’ as opposed to a big covering-up of the tile floor. We have already received compliments on it.I like that this mesh mat is thin and durable. The door slides over it. I like that it is large enough for multiple people standing on it at the same time. It looks beautiful! We took it out of the cellophane wrapper, unrolled it, laid it down and perfect! It did not need time to flatten out. There was no curling up in the corners. We are happy that we can easily clean it with either a damp cloth, or, if more cleaning is required, all that is needed is a railing and a hose!We are extremely happy that any water or debris will be trapped in this mat before it is brought through the rest of the house. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone for a nice-looking, non-slip, more hygienic way of trapping water and debris before it travels through your home.

Acquired this mat to use at an entry door from a high traffic backyard gardening area to our house. The area where we are using it is often wet and we were looking for something to allow us a chance to knock off water and loose debris before entering the house. We have had any number of the usual small, 18" x 24" entry mats, but they are just too small and to quickly load up with water or dirt to be used continually.This mat has exceeded our expectations. The mat material is soft and fairly pliable, and very "non-skid". The described thickness of just short of a quarter of an inch in accurate, and is tall enough to allow water to drain away but not so tall as to be a trip-hazard when walking onto it. The open pattern of the mat does facilitate rubbing the bottom of one's shoes across the mat to knock off loose debris, and the mat does not slide around when doing so. We have the mat sitting on very smooth finished concrete, and have issues with other mats sliding around when trying to clean off our shoes, but not a problem with this mat.We have only had the mat in use for a couple of weeks, but it is showing no signs of wear. We are going in and out of that door at least 25-30 times a day, maybe more. Not a certainty, but it appears that this mat will hold up well in the long run.While we have not done so, it would be quite easy to cut and trim this mat to fit around or against contours. Would also be easy to cut the mat into smaller pieces for other uses. I'm considering ordering another one to cut into small rectangles to line the bottom of the shelves in a large heavy-duty mechanics tool box.Bottom line- we like this mat, think it works as described, and would buy another to replace it if it ever wears out.

Just rolled it out on wheelchair ramp. Works like a charm to add safety and control for hubby. Love it!

I have put the mat on the side of by bed. You see i have PARKINSONs . It prevents me from slipping on the floor ,when i get out of bed. It works great.
