The title says it all! I can't imagine a tape any better than this. If it were stronger it would be unusable.I bought this tape to install 18" carpet tiles expecting to run it the full 18" length of the tile. If I did that it would be impossible to ever get it back up. A 4" piece at each corner was sufficient. A little goes a long way.This is attached to a mesh fabric that won't tear and if it doesn't work for you, you need something other than tape. It's so sticky it can be a little difficult to work with. Just make sure you adhere it to one surface before peeling the paper off the opposite side. Then make sure you have it positioned how you want before sealing the deal!

I stuck one side of the tale underneath an area rug to keep edges flat to prevent curling. The rug is a softer woven material with a stitched edge. It’s the perfect solution, and i’m pleased with the result. Generous roll for any future uses. Recommend this product for ease of use and value.

You get a huge roll of this tape for your purchase. It is very very sticky and hard to cut. I ordered it to try to tape my area rug in my family room in my basement on top of carpet. I didn’t work very well. I also used it on another product I ordered on Amazon a transition piece for my bathroom floor. That it worked great on.

THIS keeps the throw rug in place! I have bought…. And thrown away…. Allllll the other rug securing options out there. They don’t work. I put this tape down and the rug hasn’t moved since. (And that’s with 4 adults, a cat and a dog).Buy. This. Tape.

This stuff really holds my rugs to my carpets. Easy to use if you are patient and can adapt to its extreme stickiness. Right now I have 6 carpets stuck to my wall-to-wall carpeting for over a week and they haven't budged.

Make sure you have it where you want it. I used it to stop a carpet from moving on top of another wall to wall carpet and it was hard to pull up and reposition! A floor would be even harder to to do. Keep that in mind.

We have an entryway carpet sized 4x6 feet that we placed on top of installed carpet that extends through the whole first floor. We had it adhered with a carpet tape that has lost its stickiness. I decided to give this carpet tape a try! First impression is that it must be sticky, because it was hard to get the plastic wrap off of the roll. Second thing is that there is a lot of tape here, it should be useful for multiple uses. I did not commit to adhering the area carpet completely... yet. I realize that this tape is very thin and so sticky, I am concerned about when I want to remove the area rug and whether the installed carpet will have sticky residue on it. We rent, so if there is damage, it would be an issue for us. So I have adhered the tape to just one area of the carpet and will check in a few days if it comes off of the installed carpet without damage. I feel like this shouldn't be something to worry about, so that is why I took off one star. If after my trial period, I am satisfied with the condition of the installed carpet, then I will update my review.As for using the tape itself, I stuck it to the back of the area carpet and rolled it out to the length I wanted then cut it. The tape will stick a bit to your scissors. Then I pulled off the backing of the tape and pressed it down onto the ground. I think this is the best method to use for installation.Overall, I recommend this product, and I will update my review after I determine whether sticky residue remains on the installed carpet.

I ordered this double-sided rug tape for my SUV camper conversation. Specifically, I wanted to put a rug around my bed platform to make it more comfortable and prevent splinters. This rug tape is super adhesive, giving me the confidence that the rug won't come off. The only thing is that it is kind of hard to cut because it is so adhesive. I used a box cutter, cleaned the blade with warm soapy water, and got all of the glue off. I have slept in my camper van on the rug-covered platform and those rugs aren't going anywhere. Highly recommend!
