I spend a lot of time on construction sites and average 7 miles per day. These boots are very comfortable and have outlasted any others. I just purchased my third pair in 8 years.

Dear Wolverine Boots,Wolverine Boots are top of line boots with by being functional and weatherproof. Since I have used both Rocky and Ariat boots, I thought I’d try Wolverine boots to see how they compare to the other two brands. Many men, that deal with a lot of manual labor and deal with all different types of weather, need boots that last for many years such as Wolverine boots. Wolverine boots performance leather upper is scuff and stain resistant. They also have compression pads in the heel and forepart of the outsole to compress under pressure to absorb shock and stress before reaching the feet and legs. With the removable dual-density polymer foot bed weighs one third as much as rubber and still absorbs four time the force than rubber. The boots have fiberglass shanks for added support and their EH construction from electrical current on dry surfaces making them the ideal boot for any labor intensive jobs and jobs in all types of weather.I bought the Wolverine Durashock 8 inch Boot for working on the farm, which can have all different types of terrain. The boots are really comfortable and my feet do not hurt after standing for long periods of time while also having lots of support for your ankles. Their synthetic sole and 9.5 inch shaft from the arch allows help with both ankle support and foot support. During the winter, they have to handle the freezing and thawing of the ground and so far have done spectacular standing up to the mud and muck and the moisture managing mesh linings help to do that. They’re grip slips on the snow and ice from time to time, but what boots don’t. They are easy to clean and haven’t started to warp like most leather does in the wet weather. As compared to Rocky and Ariat, Rocky boots tended to be just as comfortable but their leather tended to warp early on and dry out too quickly and the Ariat boots tended to hurt my feet after standing for long periods of time and didn’t offer the ankle support that the Wolverine boots did.

I tried them on at Boot Barn and the wide they had was much smaller. I ordered a regular. Very wide. A lot of inconsistencies in sizes. I loved my first pair. Disappointed.
