This is a nice warm coat. It wouldn't work in a blizzard but it's keeping me warm in 30 degree weather so far. The only small complaint I have is that the snaps down the front are too far apart and the coat gaps open unless you zip it up as well. The snap placement just wasn't planned out well. They're too few and far between.

On July 22nd, I initially ordered a fleece-lined Taslon Anorak in black, size M based on the size guide and recommendation. I received it earlier than the expected date (Aug 16) and found it was too small.On Aug 2nd, I returned it and ordered the Colorblock Taslon Anorack, size L in black/bark. I was hoping to receive it before I left for my Alaskan cruise on Aug 18th since the previous order was delivered early.The Anorak fit just right but I needed more room to layer underneath. Again, I promptly returned it and placed another order, this time size 2x, on Aug 9. I took a chance as it was scheduled for an Aug 31st delivery. It was delivered Aug 14th, just in time for my trip! The larger size proved to be more comfortable for layering.Because I live in a warm, tropical climate all year long, it was challenging to find a reasonably priced jacket for the colder weather.I am a truly satisfied customer and appreciate their prompt delivery and immediately crediting my account after each return. The colorblocked Taslon Anorak was perfect & versatile! I will definitely order again. Thank you for the great customer service!

I was excited to get this jacket because it looked so cute. I didn't realize it had so much tan an the sides. It's not flattering. I'm a bigger gal and we certainly don't want clothes to make us feel even bigger. I'm still deciding if I want to keep it. It seems to be a nice rain jacket that I would wear when I go out and about (not just around the farm). It's so disappointing that they would put those big side panels on the jacket.

Always go by their size chart.Because women within would then runs bigger. This is a color block jacket. The first picture they show is a bit deceiving because it does have a contrasting color under the arms in the back and the front. It's taslon so it has a crinkley sheen to it. I first tried this on witha big sweatshirt and I was disappointed because it was tight and the sleeves were too short also the lining stuck out at the end of the sleeve. Then I tried it on with a thinner shirt and the sleeves were just right but the lining still stuck out and I had to tuck it in. I really wanted a lighter weight coat so I took the lining out. As far as I can tell it's a comfortable durable jacket but the color block contrast does make it look more boxy and I didnt like how it looked on. Returning to women Within on Amazon is easy.You just use the return label and they will give you a complete refund. If you buy from their catalog, They only give you a complete refund if you use store credit. I am 5'7 and I buy from Women Within all the time and this is my correct size. It has a warm soft lining that can be zipped out. I don't know how well the plastic zippers work. It is cheaper on amazon that it is from buying from their site.

I bought this coat (1x) because I have others from Women Within that I have been really happy with. It is true that some of their sizes run a little bigger. I was ordering a size 2x sizes and loved how they fit me. My recent weight loss of about 40 lbs, has me looking at buying smaller sizes. I got this 1x and it fit great perfect, with a little room, but not enough to make me think I bought it too big. To compare, I'm 47"x48"x52" H. 5' 5" 215lbs Women Within sizes are more like if you order 2x size you are going to get more like a 3x baggie fit. I would say if you are a size 2x girl and like comfortable fit go down a size.

I love this jacket! The versatility of it is perfect for CA weather and rain, whether it's a cold or warm rainy day. It's cozy and comfortable to wear with the lining, or remove the lining for a lightweight feel. It is true to size with plenty of room for wearing over layers of clothing. The colors are nice and match the picture.
