This dress is great for summer, as the material is thinner. The band around the bust seems to fit in an odd spot. I wish it went down a little lower. The puffy shoulders will look good on you or not depending on your shoulder type. I think this dress also works as an off-the-shoulder dress.

My wife says, you don't have to be Pregnant to wear it and don't size up if you're pregnant. It fits true to size and my wife sized up (usually an M) and shouldn't have. The material is soft, flowy and light. It also washed well. My wife got the berry purple and it's just like the seller pictures. Also, the chest area is elastic. My wife is 5.5" and almost a Maxy on her but that might be because she got the L instead of the M.

The material on this dress is slightly see-through, however, because the color was a rich burgundy, it ended up being comfortable for wearing around the house and/or not in direct sunlight.The smocked upper bust area wasn’t itchy like some and allows for give. This dress could be worn even after pregnancy as the bottom half would flow straight down without a bump.Overall, it’s a very nice dress that is versatile.
