Edit: I set the item aside for a couple weeks and when I went back to it, the smell was greatly diminished but still present if I put my nose to the material.*So as far as functionality - it does its job. It provides a bit of body.* But the fact that it off-gassed whatever this is made out of so much, doesn't make me comfortable.OriginalAs far as construction goes, it's sewn just fine and gives some nice body- but it is so smelly, I don't think I can stand to wear it. After unpackaging there was such a strong, yucky plastic aroma I had to put it in another room after airing put for a few hours, it still smelled.I will try washing it and see if that helps.
