My classic beret is precisely that—classic, down to the little tip top. This is a truly nice beret, in black. It is exceptionally soft and sits on the head nicely, providing ample warmth. I have been searching for one for a while and am delighted to have finally acquired a classic beret. It's more than a Halloween hat!

This is a classic French beret that never goes out of style. I have owned so many over the years of different quality and size. This is a smaller beret with a bit of stretch, and not thick or tightly woven. I am assuming it is 100% wool as advertised as I found it to be a bit itchy on my forehead. There is no fabric content or care instructions. Another reviewer mentioned wearing it as a costume, which it would definitely be a cute idea.That said, I will be throwing it in my carryon for a quick trip out west and to Europe in November. It will take up practically no room and may be quite handy to keep in my coat pocket.Inexpensive and cute. Classic, but a bit itchy for me (not intolerable).

For the price of $8.99 you can't go wrong. I have never had a beret and would have liked a Raspberry Beret. But a black one is nice and it goes with everything. It feels like wool, may or may not be but it seems as though it will be warm in the winter. There is no interior lining or tags.

This is definitely not a 100% wool, but I didn't expect that either. This fits pretty snug on my 22.5" head, so if you know you have a really large head, this beret will NOT be for you. But regular to slightly large, it should be ok. I have shorter hair right now, so not taking long thick hair into account.I decided to decorate mine with some fabric paint, and ironed it on the wool setting and there was some extra marks that let me know there is some acrylic in this blend. No worries, just means it is sturdy and warm, and I'm less worried if it gets a little wet in the mist or rain or snow I get in the fall and winter.
