The Blouse is GORGEOUS! I was absolutely stunned when I put it on. A pair of jeans and you have a dynamite look! Love the Corset laces in back. No baggy waist line. It is perfect for me. The fabric is shiny and sets the black lace off. It’s very well made ! And it is GORGEOUS!

I was hesitant as to whether this would serve my historical interpretation purposes, but it definitely did (see comparison photo!) And though the laces on the back are not right for 1885, they serve well for adjusting the fit, and they aren’t really noticeable. The top is thick enough that it’s fully opaque, but thin enough to be comfortable, and it’s easy to put on and take off and fit snug but not restrictive. There were a few loose threads but that’s an easy fix.

Our church celebrated a Ladies tea for Mother’s Day. This blouse was perfect and fit perfect. I couldn’t believe how well constructed it was for the price.

The construction is above par and put together really well; no loose threads, hems, button holes, collar and sleeves all beautifully done. I'm 5'5" and 117 pounds and a 36B and wear a medium in most things, although sometimes a small will fit fine also. I ordered a medium and found it slightly snug in the bust. However it is somewhat adjustable due to the lace up back. The problem for me was the distance between the neck and my shoulder. I measured and found I'm just under 5 inches there, but that distance in the blouse is 7 inches, so the poufy part at the top of the sleeve sticks out and hangs down on my arm. When I pulled it up, to see if I could have someone adjust it to where it should be, it made the upper sleeve and the back feel as though they would be tighter, and I'm not broad in the back so I don't know why it would do that. Sadly, I'm going to be returning this and will continue to search for one that's a better fit.
