Woolverino Technology

ABOUT US

In 2002, Minus33 was created by textile engineers from L. W. Packard & Co. Inc. L. W. Packard has been involved in just about every aspect of the wool industry, and a proud family-owned business since 1916. In 1995, L.W. Packard was selected by Textile World magazine as one of the top ten textile plants in the world.

With so much of our family history rooted in the wool industry, combined with our genuine passion for the outdoors, it only made sense for Minus33 to emerge as a merino wool clothing brand. Minus33 began as a snowmobile brand, and quickly expanded to other outdoor markets, such as hiking, skiing, and hunting due the versatility of our product offering.

WHY MERINO WOOL?

MOISTURE WICKING

MOISTURE WICKING

Minus33 Merino Wool regulates the amount of moisture on your skin by absorbing any moisture or sweat on your body. Then, the absorbed moisture evaporates out of the fabric into the atmosphere.

INSULATES WHEN WET

INSULATES WHEN WET

Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet or clammy. If you do get wet, wool will insulate you better than cotton or polyester materials.

UV PROTECTION

UV PROTECTION

Don’t worry about sunburn on a sunny day summiting a peak. Lightweight layers have a UPF rating of 25. Midweight and Expedition have a UPF rating of 50+.

RENEWABLE

RENEWABLE

Merino Wool has a low environmental footprint and naturally returns to the elements. Shear a merino sheep in the morning, and in the afternoon they’re happily nibbling their way towards renewing next season’s clip.

HOW IT WORKS

Nylon inner core provides extra strength and resiliency, as well as extra elasticity which helps achieve a tighter, athletic fit to the body.

Merino wool outer sheath keeps insulation, moisture wicking, and UV protective properties next to the skin so you can still reap all the benefits of merino wool.

This pair of underwear was a bit underwhelming in my experience. They don't fit as snug as I was hoping. They are on the loose side in terms of material and fit. I think I personally prefer a more elastic material, like satin.Being wool they are relatively warm, but since they don't offer much skin coverage, they don't really fit the bill for warm clothing. If you want warm woolen underwear, it would make more sense to get some long johns or coveralls. I don't see myself ordering any additional underwear in this material/style combination.

I didn’t expect to love these as much as I do. The fabric is really thin and when I opened them I thought “well these won’t last long”. Time will tell on that front. The stitching seems good, I just wasn’t expecting wool to be see-through.They are a little narrow in the butt and the crotch, and prone to riding up. I did notice myself shifting uncomfortably on a longer drive because of this, so I prefer to wear them if im not going out an about. What is nice about them is the moisture wicking and lack of odor. No smells, even after a whole day of wear and working out, and didn’t get sweaty. They’re good for wearing at home. If my opinions change after more wear and tear I’ll let you know.

I absolutely LOVE minus33's merino material. I tried the briefs style underwear for women as well. Moisture-wicking, antimicrobial, keep-the-funk-away-even-when-camping-hiking superpowered undies. Fantastic. These have some crazy tags in them that had to be removed and even though I was careful, left a hole in the back. NOT tagless but I understand why they have to be sure you know how to care for wool.Second, I really am getting fed up with the "let's look like we're wearing our man's tightie whities" aesthetic in undies. It's not cute and I wish there was an alternative to that style from this company but I haven't seen it. The elastic waistband could be a solid black and I would like it much better. Are they comfy? Absolutely. I just don't like the styling on them. But the merino fabric from this company is SO comfortable to wear. I never thought I would be saying "I loooove my wool undies!"

These are the most comfortable panties I've ever worn in my entire life, and that's saying something. They're made of 84% 17.5 Micron Merino Wool, 12% Nylon, 4% Spandex, and they are so, so soft. They're even softer than my Minus 33 thermal underwear, which is so soft you'd never know you were wearing it; same with the panties.Fit is true to size, and I ordered my usual size. These are very, very lightweight - I guess that's why they call them microweight bikini panties, right? - and you feel like they aren't even there. The fabric is so, so soft, and they are very well made. To say these are comfortable is to make a vast understatement. These panties are machine washable and go in the dryer. If there's a perfect bikini panty for everyone, I think this would be it. These are definitely the lightest, softest, most comfortable panties I've ever worn.Excellent product, well made, and the product is everything the listing says it is - soft, comfortable, well fitting, very lightweight, and they can go in the washer and the dryer. These feel like they aren't there at all, but they are active wear and are made of wonderful fabric. I'd love to have a whole wardrobe of these panties, and I just might get there. These panties would make a wonderful gift and are definitely a spectacular gift to give yourself. Comfort is everything with panties, and these are the best.
