The shirt is super cute and I really love the sleeves. The middle is just a bit too tight. It looks like it should have more give and stretch but does not. So it is not as comfortable to wear as I had wished.

Fit grat quality was not amazing

This top comes with a wide, lace-up black belt. Even though I ordered the size large in this blouse, the belt isn't large enough to fit comfortably without the snaps popping open when I move.I chose the color "red" in this top and the size large which is the size I wear most often. The top fits great.This very attractive top with large bell sleeves and off the shoulder cut is advertised as a "costume", or something to wear for "cos play". I find this style top very flattering, and will wear this top as a regular top, dressing it up with a nice pair of slacks or a skirt.The top is very comfortable. It has elastic ruching at the waistline so it is very comfortable to wear and move around in. There is also elastic around the neckline of the top, so it can be worn on or off the shoulders if you'd like.The fabric is very lightweight, and not terribly warm. It is a good weight for warmer days and evenings. There is a tag on the inner side seam with the materials that make the fabric and the washing instructions. The fabric is 95% cotton and 5% polyester. The manufacturer recommends that the top be hand washed and layed flat to dry. They do not recommend that the top be tumble dried.

Welp, black certainly hides imperfections better than color or white. Thin material, Halloween store quality. Wrinkled to hell, and that took some time to get out. Size is good though, and works in a pinch. Sleeves won't stay on the shoulders with an underbust corset, and slips quite a bit, but that's the nature of this type of top when there's elastic around the top like that. Adjustments will be made fairly often, just something to consider. Only an over the shoulder or waistcoat corset would truly keep it in place. I think the price is a little high for the quality, or lack thereof, but it is a good basic staple piece, especially for beginners or a one off Ren Faire trip.

Before trying this on, I thought the fabric was an odd thin texture, but the color was absolutely beautiful. I tried this on, and the first thing I noticed was that it was too small by at least 2 sizes. The second thing I noticed was that it fit weird in the shoulders - I couldn't pull it down on my shoulders or leave it up over my shoulders comfortably. The third thing I noticed was the rip on the seam on the arm that was there when I tried it on straight out of the packaging. This thing is just a hot mess. I gave it an extra star because it is really pretty looking and I like the design idea. It might work if you're unusually small and you get one without a rip. Otherwise, I'd give this a pass.Not a good value. I don't recommend.

I ordered this Womens Renaissance Long Sleeve Blouse Victorian Pirate Shirt Boho Tops Ruffle Smocked Waist Cosplay long sleeved vintage-look blouse to add to my family’s costume collection.This blouse came with a faux-leather corset-styled belt. I’m not sure what the belt is made from, probably PU leather or maybe a manmade plastic. The belt has a wide, stretchy elastic band and the front has silver grommets and black laces. This belt is shown in the last of the sales photos in the carousel at the top of the sales page, but it isn’t mentioned as included with the blouse, so that was a nice little extra.The blouse is made from a lightweight, 100% polyester fabric. It has a wide, gathered/smocked waist, and can be worn on or off the shoulders. I have an hourglass figure, larger on the top, so off-the-shoulder blouses aren’t the best choice for me… they tend to make me look like a saucy milkmaid. Or saucy barmaid. But worn on the shoulder, this fit me nicely; the neckline was scooped but not too scooped. The wide neckline was flattering, it elongated my neck.The wide smocked waist showed my small waist; the cut was flattering without being too revealing or provocative. The blouse looked nice with and without the corset-styled belt.The one thing I didn’t love were the extended ruffles on the sleeve. I’m small, a bit over 5’2”. Proportionately, my arms are shorter, too. I like the look of an elongated drape on a sleeve, it’s very medieval. But these drapes were too elongated for me. Instead of being a cool style element, I found I had to push them out of the way a lot. Again, I’m pretty short, these draped sleeves probably look great on a taller woman. But for me, I’m a busy little person, and the sleeves got in the way of cooking/cleaning/sewing/writing/even working on the computer.Then again, this is more of a costume piece. If I wore this to a RenFest, the sleeves probably woul other me, because I wouldn’t be doing all the things I do in a normal day at home. So for me, at least, this is a better costume piece than daily wardrobe item. Which is a little disappointing, because I really do like the style of this blouse, and if it weren’t for the drapey sleeves, I think it would look cool with jeans as well as with a long, vintage-inspired skirt.I ordered the XL because I was in-between sizes on the bust measurements. There’s a lot of stretch to this piece, I would have been fine with a L.I gave this four stars, I like the styling a lot, but some of the interior stitching was loose, and the fabric was a bit more lightweight than I expected. I like the look a lot, but the loose stitches and some uneven seams caught my attention; I removed one star for those and because the sleeves were just too long for this short-armed person. It’s a nice costume piece, but the sewing felt like it was temporary, not sturdy and strong.This is great for costumes, cosplay, visiting the RenFest.

This is a big NO. It's very cheaply made. There aren't real hems, instead the fabric is just serged. There are hanging threads in multiple places. The fabric is thin and cheap. I can't tell you how the fit is because I can't even get my arms in the sleeves to try it on! I'm normally a large or XL, for this I sized up to a 2XL. They included a free belt but that barely fits, it doesn't fit well enough to be able to wear comfortably at all. Save your money, there are much better renaissance tops and chemises out there.
