The fit is ok in the chest and the length is accurately appropriate. The sleeves though are way too short for everyday use. I have to use it for a graduation ceremony and refuse to spend much on a lab coat that I will wear an hour and forget about once done. So—for what I am using it for it mostly works, but if I were going to actually wear it daily I would purchase a coat which fits better.

My son is 6 feet 4 with a 33 inch waist and I bought him an XL. The arm pits are binding so that he can’t lower his arms comfortably and the sleeves are very short. When he relaxes his arms, the sleeves are much too short. The fabric feels very thick though and feels like it would be a good purchase for the right shaped person.

5 stars for the material and fit, but 1 star for the stitching.Fits well, good heavy coat, but stitching could be better. After 1 week, 2 buttons fell off and the threading on the third button is becoming unraveled. Nothing a quick sew job cant fix but kind of annoying. I checked around the coat and there is loose threading in other areas. Had to reinforce a lot of areas. If I had washed it first, i think there would be seams that would have come apart.
