The wood repair kit has a lot of options and has been great at making my desk look almost like new. I had a number of gouges in the desktop and legs from years of use and I was able to use the putty to bring the surface flush and match the color of the original. It works great on my small scratches but I don't think it would look as good on a larger area - at least not with my skill level, maybe someone more artistic could work to match the wood grain.

This is one of the better repair kits I've seen so far since it includes some of the lighter wood colors.I have pickled oak cabinets that had some damage done by the previous owners of our house. I tried using this kit to conceal the damage and while it's nowhere near perfect it looks a bit better than before.Using the filler was easy with the included spreader. I had to do a few fills to build it up over time then sanded it down at the end. Afterwards I mixed a couple of colors to try to match the pickled oak stain the best I could.I'm sure an artist with a better eye for color could do much better but given my time commitment to the project being limited to 15 minutes I am mostly satisfied with the results.

This is a nice little all-in-one set. It includes every shade of furniture paint out there and additional accessories like short paint brushes, mini and small-sized plastic putty knives, the wood filler putty, and even a can of wax (with a sponge) to shine it up at the end of your repair. I had to mix the paints (includes small plastic paint tray palette as well) to get the perfect shade for my repair, and I got it pretty close. The putty seems to stick well and harden somewhat quick, and the included sand paper came in handy for getting it all smoothed out. Overall, a nice little set to serve the purpose.

This wood repair kit has been a lifesaver - it's got everything I need to fix scratches and holes on my furniture, and the instructions are easy to follow. The paint is a bit tricky to mix, but the result is worth it, and the putty seems to stick well and harden quickly.
