I use these to stain my wooden miniatures and the range of colors is really impressive. Most importantly is there is little to no odor like some other stain pens. Love this product.

This MeasuPro Wood Scratch Repair Kit with markers and crayons seems like a good idea to repair scratches on wood surfaces, but I find it doesn't work so well in practice.First, the colors are very hard to match with actual wood finishes, usually they are too dark, but there is an issue with them being too cool or warm than the wood finish also. The markers seem to dry almost instantly, you have to wipe them with the enclosed cloth immediately or you will get a dark area around the scratch as well in the scratch. There doesn't seem to be an enclosed set of instructions, other than some very basic directions on the markers (Cap tightly!). Without instructions, I have no idea what the crayons are for, they don't seem to adhere to wood at all.They would be much more useful if they were actually lighter and less intense, then you could apply multiple layers to match the tone and value of your wood. With these markers, one pass is already too dark and you have highlighted your scratch instead of making it disappear.Good idea, but doesn't work for me. Maybe you can get them to work for you.

I'm very disappointed with this product. All of the markers were dried out and unusable. Don't waste your money on this product.

This product set is everything you'll need for repairs. Love the variety of colors, plus the marker/stain as well as the crayon/wax filler mediums. Do be aware that all of the colors show darker on wood than what the marker shows, so start with a lighter shade to test.
