I placed the fan on the back of my woodstove and oriented it the direction needed. That was all from there it took over. The fan is sensitive to heat. I expected it to take much more to get it turning but even shortly after starting a fire it begins to turn. It moves warm air in the direction pointed which is the purpose. It is not something you can stand in front of and feel heat like a space heater. But it does get the flow of the warm air from the woodstove moving in the intended direction. I’m very happy with it.

This little fan moves a lot of air. Absolutely silent, it pushes hot air from the stove surface into the room very efficiently. It moves enough air to get the warmth circulating into a large space.

The blades are fairly small, larger would definitely disperse more heat. Still, for the most part, they do make a difference in pushing out the heat.

One of the fans quit working after the first week of use. It did work great when operating correctly. We’re going to return this unit.

One blade has a big wobble in it And regardless even with 2 blades turning it moves no air so much so that even dangling a piece of toilet paper in front of it doesn't barely move. The blades turn it looks like a fan But it's not actually doing anything. I had A tiny little 2 inch USB fan that moves more air befor this

This little guy moves the best around way better than I thought it would.We try to only heat with wood, we have a furnace but seldom use it. We had issues pushing the heat down the hallway back to the 3 bedrooms on the end of the house. This little fan has helped push the heat towards the kitchen and a box fan pushes it down the hallway. Our house is only 1600 sq ft but we also live on the missouri/arkansas border so while it gets cold, it's nothing like Ohio (where we moved from just this year)So this is our first winter down here and the first winter this woodstove has been in this house.This fan is helping tremendously, totally worth it

This fan is built very well and seems to work flawlessly. It starts to spend as the wood burner gets to temperature and continues to spin long after. As far as I can tell, it's completely silent also which is a bonus. Also, as a surprise the back of the fan is shaped like a butterfly!

This fan is really good for pushing the heat from our stove out into the room. Sure, there are cheaper ones, but it is worth the money for the sturdy and stable construction of this one. Recommended!
