Worked great for the first 2 years. Now we are on the year 3 and nothing. I live in Ohio and my source of heat is my wood burner, and of course it is one of our coldest. Im going to have to find a replacement for this. Not worth the money.Very disapointed in this product.

Install is easy. I put this between my stove and flue. It kicks in at about 150⁰f. Even when going fast, you can't feel much air moving. It does seem to help push some heat away from the stovepipe, so it does work. But it's nothing like a box fan. As a plus, you can't forget to turn it on or off!

I purchased this to replace my old burned-out heat exchanger. This fan was easy to strap to the flue pipe and works great at transferring that otherwise lost heat out into the room. My husband and I think we will probably get one or two more to help move even more heat. We even like the free pipe thermometer. Never had one before though wood is our only heat source, we've found it's nice to visibly see the temps.

Only comes with 2 hose clamps for mounting on 6" stovepipe. Will not fit 8". Comes on at advertised temp, but really does nothing at all to distribute heat. Don't know how many cfm it actually produces, but you can't feel any airflow at all until you put your hand within a few inches of the fan. This product is useless and was a complete waste of money!

This is a small but mighty addition to my heating plan for my home. I have a wood furnace in my basement which sends heat through the old oil system's ductwork. This little fan uses the heat that I used to lose from the chimney connection pipe to move warm air around my basement. I love the efficiency and the fact that it will still be working when the power goes out. I'm very pleased. Also - this could not be simpler to install. If you can use a screw driver, you can install this by yourself.
