There are lots of options with this activity cube. There is so much to keep little ones busy. I did notice that the product page has a warning saying that this cube is for 3+ years, but then features several children much younger than that playing with this cube. Anyway, I believe parental supervision is necessary with this toy since there are so many parts. Maybe some parts would be better given at different ages/stages. Anyway, there are so many options with this cube. It is pretty well made and durable, too. It is somewhat smaller than anticipated but is very colorful and stimulates concentrated play and learning. I got this for when my good friend comes by with her 20 month old niece. It helps keep her occupied while we visit. I like this cube and, if you don't mind the size, recommend it as fun and educational.

I would order these again. They come with so many pieces and so much to do. The material is smooth and well made.

There's a lot of fun activities in one cube! Some of them are more advanced and some are easier, my problem is utilizing the cube fully while not losing pieces. Stuffing it all inside the cube makes it difficult to use the cube because you can't turn it over, and you can't flip the top part in to use as a flat surface because there's nothing keeping it attached and there's not space for that piece while other toys are in the cube. This is more of a pain for me than for the kids, so I just keep an eye on the small pieces and will bag them up as needed to keep them safe from younger players. Individually we enjoy playing with the top part, with the spinner, and the keys. As my baby gets older I'm sure we'll have more fun with the more advanced play items.

This is the type of open-ended toy with LOTS of pieces. If you’re a neat freak like me, it’s a headache keeping track of all the pieces. My kid and her cousins love it. The only thing I dislike about it is that the top part with the beads, doesn’t stay in place well. I wish it was a slide in type of closure, rather than a top. It makes it hard to flip the cube around without items falling out.

The removable side just falls off the cube entirely, and the suction spinner doesn't stay on. The gears won't turn without either falling off or getting stuck, no in between. The other sides are okay, but you're honestly better off getting a bead maze, puzzles, etc. separately. Having everything on one cube just doesn't work well.

I wanted to love this wood activity cube because it has so many cool activities and it very well made in terms of such things as smoothness of surface and nice bright paint colors. The reason that I am giving it approval but only with 3 stars, is that I think it has so many pieces that some are almost sure to get lost. They will be difficult to keep track of because of the way the cube itself becomes the storage box. It took some time to get all the pieces back into the cube after play and there is no way I could expect the 3 to 7 year old children in my family to even participate in this without a lot of time and perhaps frustration. There are two main reasons for this. The bead maze sitting on top of the unit while using, fits upside down into the cube for storage. And then all the other pieces need to fit in and around it inside the cube. Since the bottom of the bead maze is now blocking the top, there is only one access point to put in all the other pieces and it is quite small. The puzzle pieces that fit into the bottom of the cube cannot be stored inside it at all. This storage issue means that pieces are either left out in the open or the adult has to figure out how and where to store them. Left out, they are a choking hazard if there are very little ones around. So stars for lots of activities but only three because of my issues with functionality.
