At first my grandson thought he needed to match the color not the facial features. It was a really good lesson for him to compare the facial features on his card with the one he wanted to match. Once he caught on- he wanted do more and more of them. Nice that he didn't want his tablet

This is our second set since I plan on bringing it on a camping trip where there will be kids and we need more blocks. Our original one is still in great shape after we bought it years ago for our young daughter and now it’s basically a fun drinking game for adults.

These are good for helping children and even adults talk about emotions. Wish they were a little more sturdy.

Even pre-schoolers can beat grown-ups in this game! And there are lots of laughs and silly faces.

One of the few games that is fairly flexible in terms of player age. Parents and kids can reasonably compete against each other. We added a bell in the middle of the table for the players to ring when they complete the puzzle….adds some fun . Would recommend. Wood blocks with painted symbols rather than plastic with stickers the buyer has to apply. Get this one. We play with ages 3, 7, 10 to adult.

I like this block game, great fun but ours has misprinting, Leaving off the part of the eye or mouth that would allow you to make that face! I wound also suggest buying a hotel registry bell to ring when you complete the face. Makes winning more hysterical! Great game for kids and adults to play.

Was able to purchase this game during an Amazon lightening sale. I bought 3 sets. Grandchildren love this game. Seven year old quickly got the hang of it and challenges grownups with speed and accuracy. We modify the game for the five year old to build confidence by taking turns building the face on the card. The two year old likes manipulating the blocks to make the faces to match mine but is not into using the cards yet.I keep the game where they can see it but have to ask to get it to play with an adult present. I like the box size, design showing the game pieces on all sides so the kids are drawn to the game, and ease in storing the pieces after we play together.Extra games have made excellent gifts for nieces and nephews.
