I needed this to elevate my wrists off the desk to be more in line with my keyboard, and with the feet on it the height is almost the exact same as the base of my keyboard. My palm also rests on it nicely, which will certainly help with fatigue during long gaming sessions.

I recently built a 96% size mechanical keyboard to replace my Filco Majestouch 2 TKL after nearly 15 years of service, and was curious about wrist rests, since my carpals are at least as beat up and worn out as that old Filco. I was interested in wooden rests in particular, as plush wrist rests are what had turned me off from the idea decades ago due to them often being sweaty, accumulating dirt, and generally just not being all that comfortable for me.So, I happened upon this Kothar wrist rest, and it looked like an attractive, inexpensive option. Rather than write a novella, here are the bulletpoints:PROS:• Bamboo/wood, if that matters to you.• Seems durable - it does not mark with a fingernail without considerable effort.• Matte black finish does not appear to attract sweat/oils, & is easy to clean.• Not even half as costly as competitive offerings.• Listed dimensions are accurate and pairs well with my keyboard.• Angle is reasonably comfortable.• Shape is true - it is not bowed/bent.• Branding is on the underside.• The included rubber pads are fairly grippy.CONS:• The quality control leaves something to be desired - see the photos for damage that occurred during shaping, prior to the coating application (most prevalent on the left-hand corners).• A bit more effort into the shaping would have been appreciated - the far top edge has a nice roundedness to it, yet the nearest edge has more of a hard chamfer which is not very comfortable, and the edges of the ends are unfortunately rather sharp.• The corners could also benefit from some contouring.• Coating appears to have a few specks of contaminates in it here and there.• Surface texture is a bit inconsistent.• I wish it were just a bit longer - perhaps 15" total.SUMMARY:Regretfully, this falls short of being a product I could recommend. The "chip" on the front left-hand corner rubs against my wrist or lower palm, depending on which keys I am pressing. That chip in particular is annoyingly uncomfortable and spoils the entire purpose of the product. If a bit more effort had been spent on the design and quality control this would have been a fantastic wrist rest.

Pretty sturdy and doesn’t slide around as there’s a material on the bottom that keeps it firm. I would say it’s pretty comfortable if you have a smaller desk like me then you do have to move it out of the way to study as it takes up quite a bit of space. However pretty nice for gaming!

Great wrist wrest. It’s the perfect height for comfort. I love that i could put the slip resistant pads where I wanted. Great angle and design.

This wood feels cheap and the surface is not smooth. It is usable, but not great.

My only gripe is that I wish it came with more grip feet. Otherwise, if you prefer harder wrist rests when typing it's perfect. I have a q-series Keychron keyboard and it fits perfectly with the full size.Although quality feels cheap, it gets the job done.

It was different from the typical gel rests that I’m used to using, but I think im liking this better!
