Cheaply made and not that easy to use. Bolt that draws the two pieces together was not long enough for my purpose. It does not automatically square the frame, it can still shift when drawn together. Have to check with a square to make sure. The picture makes it look better than it actually works.

When i purchased this I had also ordered a different type as well. I was thinking that this looked like it would have been the better jig of the 2. So far, I've not been able to use it with some none standard stock (unequal dimensional pieces). the build is simple enough and strength is there, it's just awkward to work with since the middle swivels. the corner pieces are a bit on the cheap side, plastic that does not fit, move or adjust easily. the frame is aluminum and is light. I will be trying this again with stand pieces for a frame to see how it works with that then update. but for the current review not real please with the functionality of it.

I've made many frames with tedious corner clamps. Then I tried this and WOW!, how simple and square. Once I got the hang of many pivoting parts, it went smoothly.I found the large bolt used to pull the two together a bother, so, like another commenter, used a squeeze clamp. Very quick!I wish I bought this years ago

Maybe I'm not setting it up correctly but I'm disappointed. I could have assembled my picture frame without this item

Came on time, perfect condition. Easy to assemble and start using. It squares up frames for a test fit, after which I loosen a small amount, remove two parallel pieces and glue the ends, easily slide them back in, tighten, and go do something else. Reliable. Light. Stores easily on a wall hook. A small piece of wax paper under the glued stock ends keeps any overflow glue from sticking to the frame. I HIGHLY recommend this.

Very easy to use. Get one, you won't regret it. Making frames with this is really, really easy. Love it!
