This will work for one duck call or so...don't expect long term use with it. Very cheap brass spacers will bow and if they are off just a hair, you might as well throw them in recycle bin! I tried to return and the seller didn't send me the new kit!! AVOID THIS ONE, TRUST ME! But a 5/8 mandrel instead of trying to cheap it out, it will save you many headaches.

Easy to use, but you have to pay serious attention to it. If you dont check often, it will cause the ends to he obling. Nit a big issue for someone making 1-2 calls for personal use, but for making a lot of calls - this is not the one to use.

The rubber bushings are perfectly sized for most duck call insets. As you tighten down the thumbscrew on your mandrel they expand to grip the inside of your blank. They grip extremely well and I never had and problems with the blank slipping. They are short enough that on most pieces you can easily position them well inside the hole so you can safely turn the blank without fear of damaging them with your turning tools. I like this method of turning so much that I wish I could find these in larger diameters for other projects.
