The picture did not specify the size of the shaft of the square pieces. The sharpening is not the best but they are workable.

To start with, the listing says these square hole mortising bits come in inch sizes. What I received was a set of metric bits. That's something I may or may not be able to work around depending on the project.Metric or not, a square mortising bit is basically a drill bit coupled with a square shaped chisel. Like any chisel it needs to be very sharp to do its job. The chisel part of these bits are anything but sharp. The machining process has left the cutting edges jagged, curled and wavy.I thought about sharpening them, but the milling on the inside of the bits is too rough to make a good cutting edge, and I'd likely ruin the squareness of them anyway (not that they are all that square now). Someone with some mad sharpening skills could probably make these work, but a better use of one's time would be just buying a better product.I might try my hand at sharpening these someday, but for now I'm going to pass on using these.
