Pillbox hats were seen a lot in fashion and street style this past year. Plus, I am a hat girl. So, when I saw this pillbox hat, I knew that I had to have it. I chose the green color as I thought it was different than the typical black.I paired it with a faux leather coat, slip dress, and tall boots. I also wore it with a crew neck T-shirt and cargo denim pants, all in the same color family for a monochrome look and looked fabulous.In addition, I like that this is a classic style hat that can last through any fashion season.Overall, it is a good value for the money as the material quality is acceptable, the shape of the hat is nice and stylish, it fits well, is lightweight (so no headaches), and the convenient strap makes keeping the hat on a breeze.Finally, it is an excellent and affordable way to try this style of hat without breaking the bank.

The color and shape of this is beautiful. Great for cos-play, or possibly a very specific special occasion. Definitely dresses up an outfit and really completes a vintage look. It’s made of rich green felt. I do wish it came with instructions, though, as I’ve never actually worn one of these before and am not sure how to keep it on. There is an elastic string inside. I suppose it could go under your chin, but I think that would look weird. You could maybe tuck it under your hair from behind, but that doesn’t seem right either. The sides of the hat on the inside have what seem like tiny combs attached. They look like they might be useful for keeping it in place, but I have no idea how they are supposed to work.
