It holds the sissy bar bag well and is stout enough to not worry about the weight in the bag. When riding at freeway speed I can see the bag bouncing in the wind because the brackets that mount to the motorcycle are about half as thick as the previous sissy bar that I had. I have very little concern is it becoming a problem and it was one of the only options I had for my 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50.

The pad on the back was a little crooked. I also had to manually bend the bar to mostly fit. However, once I got it on it seems sturdy and it prevents people from sliding off the back.

This sissybar for the Fury is as described. There are no instructons and you really don't need any. You have to drill 4 holes in the rear fender, which is plastic, in order to install. There are metal brackets under the fender with exsisting holes that are usable and they do come close to matching up, close enough to get the 1/4" bolts in. You might have to stretch and pull a bit but it does fit. After installing the bar you should use a thin bit and predrill holes into the back side of the pad in order to screw it tight into the wood backing of the pad. Overall it's worth the money and looks good

I've purchased this item for 2017 Honda Fury (VT13CXA) . It's a great product but needs several modification as follows:1- PROBLEM WITH BACK SEAT SUPPORT: Back seat support supplied with two self tap screw that is impossible to stay put with motorcycle vibration when you ride in the highway. "YOU WILL LOSE IT SOMEWHERE ALONG YOUR TRIP"SOLUTION AND MODIFICATION: Take wood plate back support out, drill it and use nuts and bolts with washer to support it in place.2- PROBLEM WITH PRE HOLE ON THE TUBING FRAME"All Four Tubing frame holes are not aligned with Honda pre drilled holes on the motorcycle frame.SOLUTION AND MODIFICATION: I used step drill bit to open up honda pre-drilled holes on the frame. Two back drilled holes needs more opening than two in front. In order to fasten and support tubing with the supply nuts and bolts, I used stainless steel washer under motorcycle frame to overcome extra holes opening. After all modifications, it looks rock solid and great. I drove 1500 kilometers highway ride last week and back seat support was rock solid in place.

For a motorcycle that has alot of vibration these screws did not last a month. What do I do know?

I bought this to strap my duffle bag to on long trips. This fit my 2012 Vulcan custom 900 great after taking the fender flares off. Very sturdy and has lots of spots for hooking up bungie cords and the like. One draw back is the pad. It doesn’t come with pre drilled holes so you have to guess and screw the pad on with no guide. Not a huge deal, it just feels like I’m ruining the pad.

Arrived packaged really good. Fit perfect. I did have to remove the trim on the side of the rear fender but I'd rather have the back rest than a little trim. I had soft saddlebags that draped over the rear fender. Due to where they sit on the fender, under the seat and where the back rest mounts, I am unable to use the saddle bags. I'll need hard bags now.Overall, I would rate this as high quality. I used Loctite to put the screws in so they won't be coming loose anytime.
