Your cart is empty.The 20-foot WORX string trimmer and edger line is made from a patented copolymer nylon resin and synthetic material designed with an oval aerodynamic shape known as DoubleHelix DNALINE2. This patented design increases edging life up to 25-percent compared to normal use conditions. This patented resin line is softer allowing for the line to stretch and cushion on impact with hard surfaces. The line is 0.08 x 20-feet and easily installs into the no-bump Worx trimmers.

These work fine. I bought these primarily as extra replacement spools as I reload my own line using .080 Green Oregon trimmer line from a bulk pack as it is too expensive to replace these spool/line combos each time. Rewinding is easy if you don't overly tighten your winds and be sure to wind onto the spool in the right direction (note the arrow) following the natural curve of the original line as it comes off the bulk reel. Also, the line cutting blade must be razor sharp (I use a triangular shaped file) or it will not cut the line that fed out smoothly causing it to pull the remaining line on the spool so tight that it breaks inside, and you will need to open it, untangle, and reload.

These replacement reels are really easy to install which is the most important thing for me on equipment like this. I also like the affordable price. Highly recommend the worx system of tools in general!

This was to replace the last spool I bought where the line melted together with each use. Hopefully, this spool will not do that.

This has been a good tool for us. We have about a half an acre with fence and many trees and shrubs. This trimmer will do the back yard on one charge our front yard is smaller so there is still a fully charged battery when we are done. We have used this unit to trim the whole yard about 3 times on the first spool of line with some still on the spool. This unit will handle almost anything green but not tough brown sticks. Now we don't have to worry about mixing gas, storing gas or pouring gas just hit the switch and your ready to go.
