I wore Hanfu (Chinese Tang Dynasty dress) to an event, and I felt a purse or backpack would ruin the outfit. This basket worked great as a backpack! I strung some fabric through the woven reeds to be shoulder straps. It held my phone and essentials. I think this would be perfect for anyone attending a renaissance fair or hobbit themed event.
