Wiring instruction for connecting to car switch:
Some customers need to replace the cigar lighter switch to car switch, please cut the cord and you will find 3-color wires.
Red wire for positive, black wire for ground, yellow wire for switching patterns, changing flash pattern by touching the yellow wires to the black wire while the light is powered on.

28" 56 LED Amber - I purchased this a year ago, and it works great! . I only use this a few times out of the year for traffic control. Magnets are strong, and fairly visible even on bright sunny days. Liked it so well, this year I have upgraded to the 37.5" 80 LED Amber. Nothing wrong with having a backup.

This is a great light bar for the price. As long as you have an almost flat surface, it will hold well. It is MUCH brighter than some other bars in this price and size range.One problem that I had to fix for it to work reliably is that the + contact center plunger has way too strong and long a spring. It is so long and strong that it pushes the plug out of the socket so that the side contacts are barely making contact. Take the nose off and dump out the spring and fuse, cut about 1/8" off the spring and reassemble. Works great. One other thing to be aware is when the mode switch makes a click, it hasn't made contact and changed the mode yet. You have to press it a little further to make contact and change modes.

I could not speak on the strength of the suction cup mount . I mounted the light on my bed rack , perfect length for what I needed , plenty bright and seems to be well built . over all seems to be a good value .
