These hats have a nice big trashy sound when played open. Great price! The only downside is when striking the top of the hi hat with the tip of the stick...the sound is not very “clean”. Personally, that does not bother me. Great hats overall!!

I bought these cymbals to hold me over while budgeting for a more expensive pair. I own a Wuhan china cymbal and it the best china I have ever heard so I was excited for these to come in the mail.I was very disappointed in how these hats sound. It almost sounds like playing with 2 top hats or a pair of marching cymbals. I would buy these cymbals if you want to give your good pair a rest in between gigs but prepare to not like their sound.
