This battery doesn’t fit into inspire CX. They are totally different. The seller should change the description. Please check before buying.

Another missing cord...another "need it now"... after a doomed search I gave in and hopped on to order a replacement; that's the best way to ensure the original charging cord re-appears!This package arrived the next day. I whipped out the sturdy 3 ft. cord, and it quickly revitalized the battery on our TI-84 Plus CE calculator, which had been dead for some time. The end fit perfectly into the calculator socket. When I emptied out the contents of the cord's box, I realized this set contains a brand new battery as well, with a tiny screwdriver. I have a second TI-84 somewhere so I'm very happy to have this backup battery, which I'm bound to need. Now to find a storage place whose location is memorable ... hmm I should just switch it now!**Note that this webpage indicates the new battery needs 2-3 full cycles of full charge/complete discharge to achieve its full capacity. (I didn't receive any instructions with the item.)

Replaced the OEM battery in my daughter’s calculator. It works perfectly.. the cable is better and longer than the one that came with it too. Included screwdriver is very helpful.

When school started I was afraid we were going to have to buy a new TI-84 since ours was dead. I searched the internet and I found that the symptoms of continuous rebooting were a defective battery. I purchased this battery, Installed it per the included instructions and booted the calculator up. There was enough charge in the battery to make it work. Used the included charging cable to fully charge the battery.

I have an 84+ that I use almost all the time. Like most electronics, after some time the battery life will deteriorate. This was no exception.Battery fits perfectly and has had no issues so far. Definitely gave my calculator a new lease on life.
