I ordered a size bigger, hoping for kids to be able to wear for a couple seasons… it fit a little loose around the waste, but that’s because I ordered bigger. But for dressing warmly for snow it works alright, and didn’t seem to hinder their outdoor play. The quality seems great. Kids stayed warm and dry. I would purchase again, value for money is worth it.

While I liked the fit of these as long as I added a belt (the waist was kind of big) they are definitely NOT waterproof. They have a soft cloth type material on them in spots by the knees and the waist and those were soaked by the time I was done. As well as they would show sweat all along the seam in the crotch from front to back.Not a happy hiker…

the waistline is too big and the hips are just right, so when my daughter sits down, her behind is entirely exposed and there is no drawstring or anything to tighten it so that it is useful.

My 11yo is in size 14 pants. I was confident ordering the 14/16. I had him try on the snow pants right after they arrived and I’m glad I did! He had a pair of form fitting/tighter sweatpants on and the snow pants would/could not pull up to his waist. They were even too tight on his legs. He could barely walk in them, let alone run around and play. They *may* have fit if he didn’t wear pants under the snow pants, but that’s not how it’s done, at least in Michigan, USA. Also the material did not appear to be waterproof, the material was not the shiny umbrella like material like “regular” snow pants are. Maybe, just maybe, they sprayed something on the material to make it waterproof, but I’m not taking that chance. I don’t want my child wet and freezing cold during snow play and having to end his fun early.

These pants fit Little Miss as per the measurement guide.They are coloured as pictured. The fabric is soft and pliable, and durable so far. She has worn them hiking, sledding, and skating within minimal wear and tear, keeping her warm and stylish at the same time. The elastic waistband holds the pants up well.The pockets hold little treasures and are really good quality zips.They wash well in the normal cycles without showing wear and tear (beyond her regular use).A must have for any kid with winter weather.

We looked at the size chart provided by the seller and realized that our 6-year old kid actually needs the 8-9 years old size. And the 8-9 year old size fits perfectly on our 6-year old. So, keep that in mind if you are planning to buy these pants. These run small, so order one size up for a good fit. Other than that tiny size issue, this is a great pair of pants. The inside fleece-lining is thick and the outside fabric is also water repellant. So, snow does not get inside the pants easily and the fleece lining keeps my kid warm all day long. The colors look great and are slightly muted when compared to online pictures. BUT, the colors still look great and the material and build quality of these pants is top notch. If you want to keep your kid warm during the winter, these pants are great for that purpose. I highly recommend these.

I ordered the size 10-12 for my daughter but they fit me as well. It is a nice fit around the waist and the length is about right for this size. For anyone who is taller than 5’1”, the length would be short. It fits snug so order a size up if possible.It is more like a normal pair of trousers than snow pants and is not bulky. These snow pants being most black are simple but stylish. I like that the two pockets have zippers and they are quite deep. The zippers are hidden providing a clean sleek look. The waist is elastic, which is nice but doesn’t have drawstrings so are not adjustable.The quality is good and I did not see any obvious defects. They are made of 100% polyester and are windproof and waterproof as water slides right off. The snow pants are comfortable to wear and are warm. The fleece inner layer is quite warm though does not get uncomfortably hot. In –8 degrees Celsius, they kept my legs warm and I didn’t feel the cold.Overall, these are nice snow pants that are warm, comfortable with a simple yet stylish design. At a regular price of $49.99, it is a bit pricey.
