Good shorts. The fit is accurate. Quality is pretty good. NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO POCKETS. The included padded underwear are a bit loose but fit well. I would give five stars if they had a pocket or two. Hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Rear pocket zipper broke in less than 1 season. There are no other pockets on the shorts. Have worn the shorts less than 5 times. Would not recommend. If seller reaches out to replace, I will update my review. Otherwise, would look elsewhere.

I liked the quality of the pants and the liner. But there is a single small pocket in the rear of the pants. That's all!? Need more pockets

You can remove the insert so you can use it for other activities. I’m 6feet tall and 250 pounds the X-Large fitted me well. The padding is adecúate. The price is a still.

I purchased these Mtb shorts in blue and when I was researching it, “Ask Rufus“stated:“The product description states the shorts have four pockets - a back zipper pocket and three other pockets - to conveniently store items like phones, keys and wallets while riding. The pockets offer security, comfort and protection so users can focus on their ride.” So I purchased the shorts expecting four pockets and was surprised when it only had one zippered pocket under the waistband in the rear. I went back to the product description to find that the manufacturer made no such claim. I happen to like the shorts, but the fact that it only has the one pocket in the rear is limiting, otherwise I would’ve purchased them in several colors. This is obviously Amazon’s fault. When I selected other colors to see if I would get the same answer from ask Rufus, I didn’t, so this is clearly an issue with Amazon in this one color way. Now, what I like about the shorts: Nice material, great fit, and the internal underwear with the chamois provided adequate cushioning. I’m puzzled, though that it has two belt loops in the front but nothing on the sides or in the back- what are these for?

They are very big compared to other items recommended for my size. There is an elastic upper band that is not sewn into place well and twists when run through the wash. The outer shorts are light and comfortable, but the back pocket is so small it's useless. there are two small belt loops but none in the back so you really can't use a belt if they fit loosely. The padding is basic, but comfortable enough on the saddle. When not in the saddle, feels like a diaper. Doesn't flex well, but that could be because of the size running big. Overall they have been okay, but looking for a better more comfortable fitting set. Good enough for the sale price (under $20).

Get some spandex and some cheap synthetic shorts and you'll be better off, this just fits wrong.

I bought these for somewhat lengthy "casual" riding when I don't want to pretend I'm some Euro-pro dressed in team billboard kit. Actually look normal with a collared snap shirt.Pros:I really like the outer shell and inner liner which is removable. The inner liner pad is something I would have expected on a higher priced garment and is the high point. No irritation on 3-hour tours...So So:The outer shell has two front snap loops that secure the padded liner but also allow removal for laundering (good!). The islets in the padded liner are small and stitch reinforced to the point that it is difficult to reassemble the garment after washing, (annoying!). I do not have enough washes to judge the durability of the snap loops but would not recommend washing them attached.Con's:I wear a washable nylon belt on my casual riding shorts to help prevent shorts from slipping down when in a forward leaning riding position. The shell has belt loops on the front only (they serve no purpose!), but none in the rear, so there is no possibility of using a belt.
