At first glance I was excited to find a helmet that wasn't to expensive. When I tried to put it on the chin strap is short it doesn't fit under your chin. Then I started looking at the rest of the helmet and the diameter of the helmet rim isn't round it has 2" long area that is flat. The tack welds along the rim also look cheap and unfinished. It's definitely a wall decoration not a usable piece.

I bought this helmet to have a protective shell whilst riding me motorbike, and not make me head look like a knob. Day 2 of use, a golf ball sized lumb of gravel fell from a dump truck and clocked me clean in the forehead at 45 miles per hour. Heard a clang, but felt no impact. No damage to me noggin. Chinstrap is comfortable and easy to adjust. This helmet is good enough for issue during the great war to defend our lads from artillery, it is good enough for me. Well done lads

Visible welds holding the rim on so the rim is probably not stainless as the originals, and therefore will begin to rust as soon as the paint is worn or chipped. The underside of the brim is also covered in forming or pressing marks. It is a helmet that looks good from ten feet away but closer examination will reveal the multitude of flaws. If I could have a do over, I would buy a original shell and restore it and get a repro liner kit for about the same price.

It is an amazing helmet! It is even weighted to the same general weight. My only problem is with the chinstrap. Im going to try and see if i can loosen it somewhat. I have included photos of the product!!!!
