As I was boating this last week, I unfortunately needed to swap out my propeller due to a rock that I didn't see underwater. My old hub had taken a beating (and that's what it's supposed to do) and it needed to be replaced. I was very impressed with this replacement kit. It had everything I needed and I am so thankful that I had this kit on me so I could continue my fishing adventure while up north. Perfect size, well built and quality parts.

I ordered this hub replacement set to keep on my boat in case I encounter a propeller strike that breaks my hub. I have a 20 foot bowrider boat with a Mercury 150 HP 4-Stroke motor. I live in southwest Florida and after hurricane Ian last year, there are a lot of debris and obstructions in our shallow waterways. I already broke a hub hitting some of this junk a month ago and it took me two hours to limp my boat home due to the spun hub so I now carry a spare hub with me that I can replace on the fly if I need to. This set is much cheaper than others on the market and the plastic hub itself feels much more hard and brittle than others that I have used in the past--but that is OK because, like I said earlier, I am just keeping this on my boat for emergency purposes. In summary, I think this is a great back-up hub set and it makes me feel much better knowing that I can keep it on my boat in case of emergencies.
