Didn't snap in like OEM part. Had replaced since the end with yellow sticker was dry rotted. I place electrical tape over it until I received new one. The part by the air filter wouldn't snap in. Left me with only to choices. Choice one.. Not be able to drive car and resend it back and buy from another seller. Choice two... modify and make it a perfect fit . I chose option two. Definitely glad I did!!

The hood part fits perfectly, but the motor/air box side is slightly too big. Had to sand down a few millimeters

Worked perfectly and was SUPER easy to install, literally took 30 seconds to install. You can search Youtube on how to install but honestly all you need to press the release on each end of the part and then click the new one in place, SUPER easy to install. Will save you hundreds WITHOUT exaggeration compared to the dealer seriously almost ANYONE can install this part in less than 1 minute. Looks just like original.

I tried to install found that one side of the fittings was slightly bigger luckly he had a sander or edge cutter that helped it fit exactly.... Just beware the side that goes to the engine may and may not work.

The end for the air element box was not the proper shape for my 2014 cla250. The picture and description appeared to be exactly what I needed but when the part arrived it was not the same and I use amazon's car filter for the exact fit and has usually been ok. The end of the part for the air element box was curved on one corner and I need to be the rectangle shape shown in the diagrams. Also the clips for the that end were different.

Replaced at 60k miles do to burn hole caused from turbo being too close to inlet tube, common problem for this engine series. This part showed up with 2 broken mounting tabs even though it was packed pretty good in foam and then boxed. Still able to mount and replace old tube, time will tell how well it holds up to heat.Other option is dealer which is about $20 more.
