Didn’t work. Spend the little bit of extra money and go with a higher quality one from rock auto or OEM from Mazda. They are like 50-70 on rock auto or like 150 from Mazda. Save yourself the headache and time and spend a little more.

Don't be intimidated about installing this in your vehicle. Go on line and you will find a variety of videos showing you how to install it. By doing so, I easily saved myself $300.The part itself is identical to what Mazda would install, but that it's not stamped "Mazda," thereby saves you easily $50 on just the part itself.Go for it!

Bought this for my 2006 Mazda 3 after getting transmission and check engine lights turn on. After checking codes it came to a sensor issue and this fit and works as good as a oem part. It solved the issue and my car runs fine now

Some slight categorization on this one. Mazda 5 uses the front ABS sensors for vehicle speed, not the transmission sensor. The transmission output sensor is also three print, and the product that was delivered to me was two prong. I am unsure if this fits a different specific transmission sensor on a Mazda 5, but it is NOT for vehicle speed. Chances are this sensor works perfectly, but I believe it is incorrectly assigned to what seems to be the wrong PCdb part term. I am returning this sensor as it does not fit.
