I installed these switches into my older aluminum keyboard that's gasket mounted with PC flex plate and poron foam. The sound profile is nice and thocky. Sound is quite deep. My keycaps are also thick. Keep in mind that these switches are not the top in terms of performance or sound profile. But when it comes to affordability, these are hard to beat.These switches are not going to perform any miracles if you just swap them into a cheaper keyboard that's hollow and without the multitude of layers that help dampen the sound. You must already have a solid foundation and use them in a well layered keyboard. Of course, these will still sound much better than any MX blue switches and the like that you typically find in cheaper keyboards. They will definitely sound better in those.If you want to stretch out the potential of these switches, starting out with a better made keyboard is the way to go. The built-in light diffuser is great for south facing LEDs. At 20 cents per switch, these are a very compelling option.

I watched quite a few reviews on these Leobog switches and settled for the Graywood V4s since mech enthusiasts made them sound 'thocky' and 'creamy' on youtube videos. Right out of the box, they are pre-lubed. I installed them in, put on my keycaps, and did some type tests.They feel exactly like Gateron Yellows. There is nothing special about these. To make any of your keyboards sound the way youtubers do, you'll have to do a lot of modifications that are unrelated to the switches themselves. Overall, I was misled and this was of no fault to the seller. I am just rating this product.
