Functionally the inverter/charger works as designed. Very light weight and easy to install. Primary complaints are that the panel is a bit cumbersome to work through the settings and the fans are very loud, they come on frequently even with minor to no load. I contacted Xantrex about replacing the fans and they said that it must be done at the factory and they refused to supply part numbers. Pretty sure quieter fans will appear one day soon….

After 10 months the inverter/charger stopped working. But after 2 weeks trying every day if it's working, today start working. I read some customers forum and one person said that this occurred too.

Inverter did not work. No 120v output voltageUnit would not run. Returned unit. Have not heard anything and have not received a refund. Not happy about getting refund for bad unit.As a follow up to the above review I would like to report that a refund has been received. I am doing some studying but will probably order another inverter of some brand later

Electronic translate: Purchased on February 28, 2023 to replace the old TRACE inverter, with the main objective of improving the type of electrical current and obtaining the pure sine wave of this equipment, since the previous one was of the semi-square type. The surprise, the reason why the two points were lowered from the evaluation, is that the fans turn on continuously for a long time and are very noisy and annoying (60 decibels at 20 cm). Honestly, I wouldn't buy it again. Ambient temperature does not appear to have any effect. The immediate surroundings of the equipment have been measured with a laser thermometer, obtaining 30 degrees Celsius during the day and at night it has dropped to 27. Measuring directly on the fans, the air outlet usually measures half a degree higher than that of the air entrance. Neither has any relationship been found with the mode of operation, since the use is for energy backup (power backup) being connected to the public energy network. Since its installation, there has only been a lack of current from the public network for about two hours, so it is almost always working in bypass and battery maintenance mode.

The inverter/charger in my 2000 motorhome was a Freedom 20D, 22 plus years later still going strong. However it was a square wave or modified sine wave. The only thing over the years that I wasn't able to get work correctly was an induction cooktop. I upgraded in part for the 3000 watts versus the 2000 watts of my old one. And the fact that it'll charge at 150 amps.Install was pretty straightforward and simple since I was replacing a previous inverter/charger. I've done some testing and of course my induction cooktop works fine with the pure sine wave of this model. I've also tested and it does put out the 150 amps charging when I'm plugged into shore power. I also bought the remote panel which has the integrated Bluetooth and both work well. Although the settings are much easier to just do in the app.I chose the Xantrex in part as my last one was by them and lasted more than 20 years. Also some of the new RV brands list their charger inverters using volt amps (va) instead of Watts. You should know that this is not an apples to apples comparison I believe 3,000 watts is about 2,400 volt amps. My old inverter from 2000 had a monster transformer in it and would always hum anytime it was inverting. This new one of course is silent. The only time I've heard any noise on the new one is when it was charging 150 amps, as expected the cooling fans were running. So overall I'm very happy with this new inverter/charger, and if that changes I will update this review.

Replaced our old xantrex 2500 after 15 years of solid service with the new XC pro 3000 marine. It works flawlessly its half the weight, easy to configure, well thought out design. Looking forward to another 15 years no issue service.
