Screws are some really weak metal. I predrilled and still had the head break off. Annoying because now you have to move the entire mounting location, not getting that screw thread out of the wood now. Plus you need to now find a screw that fits since they only supply exact amount.

Magnets are strong. I would suggest some thickness cushions cause not everyone has the tools or materials to adjust the to doors...

The kit came with one adhesive strip instead of the two shown in the photo. I chose to use screws on the door for a more solid installation instead of the adhesive strip. One of the screw heads broke off just going into an existing hole in a wood clothing chest drawer. The magnet feels more like 1lb of force than the 20lb that are advertised. This is a perfect example of the saying “"Made for selling, not for using." Another Chinese toy. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

The catch holds and works well, but was a pain to install. I had to locate the steel plate on the door by eye and guesswork because the adhesive strip was not sticky enough to transfer the plate from the magnet to the door.

I originally ordered the magnetic strip sold by the same company. I wanted a magnetic way to close my shower door. It didn't work and I wrote a review saying that. I was contacted by the company and offered a complete refund, which I accepted. They then recommended this product for the project I had in mind. I ordered it and it works great! I installed it in minutes and it works perfectly.

I got these because I have a kitchen trash drawer that won’t stay closed. I have tried to adjust the alignment and no matter what I do the drawer will simply creep its way open. These magnets solved the problem. First of all they come in a pack of four, meaning for sets of magnets. They also come with the 16 screws to attach them, 8 pieces of double back tape, and 8 silicone bumper pads. For my application I chose to use the double back tape, and it holds beautifully without putting holes in either the drawer or the cabinet. I. The sizes of the magnet pieces are accurate in the product description. The magnets are surprisingly strong. And most of all, I am very happy that my trash drawer does not open by itself anymore. Thank you! All in all I find this to be a great value.

This is well made and was easy to install.But the magnets are not as strong as I was expecting.This will NOT keep a drawer closes in an RV while moving if there is anything in it.I put 2 on each drawer and even empty they can pop open on a rough road.Going to go back to the factory style latching keepers to keep the closed. Those keep breaking so I thought this would work better since it has no moving parts. But the magnets are just not strong enough to hold even an empty drawer closed 100% of the time.I used them on 2 cabinet doors as well, they stay closed as long as nothing in the cabinet falls against them. They will open if anything falls against the door. But I expected that honestly.Overall, they are good quality, but the magnets are too weak for use in an RV.

Used this to hold a barn door after it was shut and it worked perfectly. It has just enough magnetism to hold the door in the closed position without being too strong to make it difficult to push it open. There was no room in the door frame to add a latch and since the door is to a master bath with a locking door for the primary bedroom, it was the perfect solution. Recommended for light weight hold.
